A Wi-Fi signal has to meet a certain set of requirements in order to connect the frame. Below is a list of the most common Wi-Fi requirements.
A Short List of the Most Common Wi-Fi Requirements:
- Wi-Fi needs to use the 2.4 GHz network band
- Wi-Fi needs to use IPv4 addresses (IPv6 is not supported)
- Wi-Fi can't be hidden
- Wi-Fi can't use WPA3 or Enterprise encryption
If your Wi-Fi does not meet the requirements, or if you are in doubt, please get in touch with your Internet Service Provider. They are usually able to check and make changes to the Wi-Fi very quickly.
