At Frameo we make the app on your phone and the experience on your frame, and we license our software to the manufacturers who build the physical devices, Android operating system, and the firmware.
This means security updates happen at two levels. We maintain and deliver updates to the Frameo software. The Android operating system running underneath is a separate layer, with its own support timeline.
You can check which Android version your frame is running under Help → Support in the frame menu.
