A wireless network can use a captive portal instead of a regular Wi-Fi password. A captive portal is a type of log-in page for authentication, which may require a username and password combination.
Captive portals are common for public Wi-Fi's (e.g. airports, cafés, hotels etc.) and for guest Wi-Fi's (e.g. in work places, nursing homes, assisted living facilities etc.)
Fortunately, it's super simple to connect the frame via a captive portal - here's a guide.

How to Connect the Frame to a Captive Portal
- Open the Wi-Fi settings on your frame
- Find and tap the network
- Wait for the frame to connect
- Once connected, tap the Connection Status to login
- A browser will open and allow you to enter the necessary credentials. The browser will automatically close once a connection has been established.
Note: Login via a captive portal is only supported on unsecured networks.
If you're unsure whether the network is secured, simply look for the padlock icon. A secure network has a padlock, while an unsecured network does not
