We are excited to introduce Countdown to Event! With a Frameo Premium subscription you can now add a fun new way to build anticipation right on your frame! Whether you are counting down the days until Christmas, tracking the days until a loved one arrives, or simply helping the kids visualize how close it is to the weekend, this feature keeps your family's biggest moments front and center. You can choose to display the countdown during your slideshow, or only in the Fullscreen Calendar - either way, it adds a little extra excitement to your everyday life.
What is Countdown to event and how to access the feature?
Schedule your frame to automatically switch between your calendar and your photos throughout the day.
You can manage your schedule directly from the frame's settings to perfectly match your daily routine. Here is how to access the feature and get started!
To use this feature, your frame must be granted Premium access by a friend with Frameo Premium. If you don't have a subscription yourself, simply tap a Frameo Premium feature in your frame's settings. From there, you can easily send a request to a friend connected to your frame to ask for Premium access. Once granted, your frame will unlock both Countdown to event and Timed calendar view.
How to enable Countdown to event on your frame
If your frame doesn't have access to Premium features, you can easily ask a friend with Frameo Premium to grant you access:
1. Tap the screen once in the Slideshow to bring up the Quick Menu, or the three dots in the top right corner when in Fullscreen Calendar mode → Go to Settings
2. Tap the Calendar option in the settings panel on the left
3. Tap Show countdowns in slideshow (or Calendar timed view)

How to add a countdown to an event?
1. Go to My calendar in the Quick menu
2. Tap any event in your fullscreen calendar (or in Hybrid view) to bring up event details
3. Toggle Add countdown to event on to add a countdown to the event
All countdowns will then be visible in a bar at the top of your Fullscreen Calendar.
If you have added countdowns to multiple events, you can easily scroll through them all in the countdown bar at the top of your calendar view.
How to add Countdown to your slideshow
When enabled, your active countdowns will appear during your slideshow as a list of widget overlays. In Hybrid View, they will be visible in a banner at the top of the calendar bar, where you can easily scroll through them all.
Want to see more details or disable a countdown? Simply tap the countdown to view the event details or turn the countdown off.
How to enable Countdown to events in your slideshow
1. Tap the screen once in the Slideshow to bring up the Quick Menu, or the three dots in the top right corner when in Fullscreen Calendar mode → Go to Settings
2. Tap the Calendar option in the settings panel on the left.
3. Toggle Show countdown in slideshow on to show the countdown widgets in your slideshow.
In Hybrid View, a countdown bar will appear at the top of your calendar view. If you have added countdowns to multiple events, you can easily scroll through them here.
