Syncing your calendar to your frame should happen automatically once you have added your calendar, but several factors - from internet connectivity to account permissions - can sometimes interrupt the process. If you see a Calendar sync failed message, please take a look at the troubleshooting steps below. These can help you identify the issue and aim to get your calendar back on track.
Is the frame online?
A good first step is to make sure your frame is online. Please follow the steps in our guide here: 🛜Is My Frame Online?
Once your frame is online, try a manual sync by tapping Sync now in your Calendar details settings.
How to manually sync your calendar
1. Tap the screen once in the Slideshow to bring up the Quick Menu, or the three dots in the upper right corner when in Calendar mode
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap the Calendar option in the settings panel to the left
4. Tap your Calendar in the top
5. Tap Sync now
Your calendar should now sync with the frame.
Calendar sync status
The sync icon next to the calendar name shows its current connection status. You will be able to see this in your frame's calendar settings and in your Frameo app under Connected frames → Calendar.

Is the calendar shared with you or owned by someone else?
Make sure you have the necessary permissions. If you are not the owner, ensure the owner hasn't changed the access permissions or sharing settings.
Has your access or password changed?
If you recently changed the password for your Google or Microsoft account, you may need to reconnect your calendar.
Connecting a work or school calendar?

Reconnect your calendar
To reconnect, first remove the synced calendar from your frame. Then, add it again by following our step-by-step guide for your provider. See a detailed guide for each provider here: 🙋♀️Get Started With Calendar
How to reconnect your calendar
1. Go to the frames Settings
2. Tap the Calendar option in the settings panel on the left
3. Tap your Calendar in the top
4. Tap Remove calendar
5. Connect the calendar again by tapping Add calendar
6. Scan the QR code on the screen with your phone - you will then be taken to a setup guide in your Frameo app
7. Choose your calendar provider from the list and follow the steps here.
8. After the calendar has synced, a request will appear on the frame. The owner needs to tap this and accept to complete the setup.
